Fantastic pickups. The best tonal balance of all Stratocaser pickups ever!

Is a used set with a broken bridge pickup and thats the best i can tell you.
It was definitely a used set, box they came in had ware marks ,copper winds were broken in the bridge pickup. these were not new as advertised. Someone owes me a new bridge pickup.

"BEST modern Stratocaster pickup's of all time"
I first heard these pickup's when I purchased the very first batch of 2012 Fender American Standard Stratocaster Olympic White with Maple Neck. I had been looking at Fender American Standards for a few years but when Fender announced the all new for 2012 American Standard Stratocaster's would be fitted with these "Custon Shop" FAT 50's (Alnico V) with the middle pickup being RWRP and the second tone control would be wired to the Bridge Pickup and that potentiometer would be a "No-Load" unit. There is a "detent" on the second tone control between 9 & 10. When on 10 the bridge pickup is bypassed from the circuit allowing that pickup to run straight to the output jack or "pure bypass". To me this is what I was waiting for "The Ultimate Modern Fender Stratocaster". In 2016 Fender changed the design again however to me the V-Mod pickup's and taller/skinnier fret wire was a step back. The 2012 Strat that I bought was the last one left at the music shop. The manager told me they received their first batch of the all new 2012 Fender American Stratocaster's on a Friday and by Saturday at closing every single 2012 Strat had sold except for the Olympic White one that I bought. Now that really speaks volumes about how well engineered and designed the all new 2012's were. The Fender "Custom Shop" FAT 50's Single Coils are the BEST Fender Stratocaster pickup's Fender has ever made. You just can't go wrong with this set. 5 stars!Read full review...

What a Strat is supposed to sound like.
These are the pickups that make a Strat sound like a Strat. Bright, "clucky", "quacky". If you want a fat, mellow sound, look elsewhere. If the sound is too crisp, you can always dial it back, but you can't make muddy pickups sound good. I've replaced the boutique pickups in my Strats with Fat 50s. Read full review...
