Mercedes Lackey's Firebird

I love all of Mercedes Lackey’s writings, though this one is a little different than what I’m used to. I still liked the book, but it’s not as good as some of her others.

This was an engaging rewrite of an old Russian folk tale. Easy to read and sympathize with the main character. Mercedes Lackey always comes through with an enjoyable read.
