a great pickup for the money
Very easy to install. Doesn't hurt my Collings parlor guitar at all. The 1/4 connector is solid with a long cord to reach far behind to amplifier. I made sure that there was equal space between all six strings and the top of the pickup. Seems to fit well and not impede my fingerpicking or flat picking the strings. Very fair price for the nice sound.Read full review...

Great little gadget!!
First time I've tried to amp the sound in one of my acoustic guitars and I'm thrilled with the quality of the sound out of my Blueridge BR160 through my Fishman Artist Amp. Great product, I highly recommend it. Of course you have a wire coming out of your sound hole but that's not a big deal for me, just move your hand to the back of the sound hole and it's a nonissue.Read full review...

quality Fishman acoustic pickup
I had the battery powered model and had to unplug it to keep it from draining the batteries.
This sounds great and is much more simple to use, but I had to really push the amp to get the volume I got with the battery powered one.Read full review...

Works and sounds very good
My problem with the Fishman is that it contacts the strings if the action is low. Two of the guitars I used it with were not playable with the Fishman installed. A third guitar had difficulty playing notes above the 14th or 15th fret.
If you get this pickup do so with the understanding that you may need to raise the action on the old acoustic guitar.Read full review...

Great pickup for the price
I wanted a pickup for my 6-string acoustic that didn’t make it sound like an electric guitar. I also didn’t want to spend a ton of money (plus installation). The Fishman Neo-D gave me what I was looking for. Very happy with the results.Read full review...

A # 1
I'v played music for ever. I put this on an acoustic bass. Wired the cord into the jack plug. I use a Martin preamp that hooks on my belt. Couldn't ask for anything better.

cheap effective neat pickup
Among the options for soundhole-mounted piezo-driven steel-string acoustic guitar pickups, this Fishman passive single-coil NeoD model is a great value with a clear sound signal and simple solid mounting clamps. The attached cable ends in a standard phone plug for input to preamp, amplifier, or direct box. The cable could be in the way of your strumming but I installed the pickup upside-down, closer to the bridge, and the cable runs over the top of the guitar, out of the way of my strumming. I like this pickup!Read full review...

Big
Bigger than it looks. To big for the sound hole on both my acoustic guitars and it has height that seems like it would get in the way for fingerpicking. Totally wasted my money.
