The BEST FLIGHT 93 true story movie is this one, with Jeff Nordling.

I was skeptic at first to order from E-bay, but, I must say, mi first experience was great. Easy to order. Received in a few or so days. The quality of this dv honestly is perfect, no complaints,hence shall order more from this seller. Now, on the movie itself: i've seen it 20008, 2012, few x during 2013, few x during 2017, not since then, except ONE TIME on A&E few years ago 2020,and i have missed watching it, when i feel like it,so I decided to re-order it, after losing it, during a house move 2021. SO VERY HAPPY to own it now, it's so good. BEST MOVIE imo(in my opine) on 9/11, Flight 93 and the actor Jeff Nordling playing TOM BURNETT was literally just about perfect, as the one who starred on Flight 93 as TODD BEAMER(" Let's Roll") and Jeremy Glick, was "ok"but, i loved it so very much,and actor i think is Ty, he played incredibly Mark Bingham, wow.so "real" as i felt his acting, facial expressions, his overall star quality throughout, with Jeff Nordling, it felt so real as the other co-stars the "moms" wives were literally 'near perfect" such as Mark's mom, so real, and Honor Elizabeth Wainio mom too, so good. I will watch again few more DOZEN times this year,and watching again in a few hours tonight. I cried at the end, but SMILE too(at the scene when they are literally ganging up to take out the no good terrorist, as I would have had to try and do the same thing." These victims are truly in heaven RIP for eternity, NEVER ever to be forgotten, true heroes, as the pilots, doing what they did, i again, would have tried the same, to fight back, when your life is at risk and my neighbor is FLIGHT ATTENDANT "Wanda Green"in suburban (east coast suburban town called Linden,NJ) RIP WANDA GREEN, always remembering these true fighterse,and may they continue to RIP, never forgotten, ever. Flight 93 (DVD, 2006)

I decided to buy this a day or two before this year's (2009) 9/11 anniversary. I remembered seeing it on t.v. a few years ago and thought it was one of the best, if not the best, production/recreation of Flight 93. They used complete unknowns (relatively, anyway) as the actors and it was like being there. It not only showed the passengers and crew on the flight, but it switched back and forth to other scenes-of the various family members of the passengers and crew (their conversations when the passengers called on the plane phones and their cell phones), the control tower personnel and different government agencies as the entire crisis developed. It was absolutely gut-wrenching to watch (have a box of tissues handy!) and most definitely reinforces the belief of good in our fellow man. They made an enormous sacrifice (the members of Flight 93)-who knows who many lives they saved? Excellent documentary/drama, acting superb. I love this movie and there is absolutely nothing I disliked about it. It's not too long or too short and delivers an impact you soon won't forget. I highly recommend this movie.Read full review...

Great Movie!

What made this movie great was the fact that there is no popular actors and actresses in this movie. There was no big name to steal the spotlight, therefore it was much more real. Shot partially like a reality show, Flight 93 starts from the the early morning hours of September 11th, 2001 through to the final ending we all know. Its all about what happens in between. Like Mel Gibsons Passion of the Christ, Flight 93 is a dramatic account of actual events, and is very hard to sit through. You know the story and how it ends, but you still cringe and yell at the screen to try and change the outcome! But you still know the sad ending. There is nothing real objectionable in the movie, just very, very intense moments and a few non-graphic stabbings. I know that the actuall transcripts taken from the flight (released well after the movie was made) show a slightly different take, and a bit more graphic. The movie doesn't mention the terrorists continuously praising Allah throughout the ordeal, which we know occured from the transcripts, hopefully out of a lack of information than from political correctness. There was some slow moments to add to the drama, of coarse, but overall this was a great movie and a stark reminder of the cruel and horrific events that took place on September 11th, 2001. A must buy if you want to watch a horrible account of flight 93.

This must have been horrible, for the people who was on flight 93 knowing they were going to die to save many other lives. I hope safety has gotten better in the USA since 2011. Back then they let those high jackers board those planes, because they didn't check their baggage and the person very well. As well as the other flights that hit the twin towers, and the national security center in Washington. Back then I worked for a company that handled top security for the government communications and there were places around the USA the President might be on a plane and land in case the President was aboard the plane when something like this happened. I was off the day all this happened, but I called into my work and ask if they wanted me to come in and they said no. I asked if they knew what had happened and my supervisor said yes.
