A great album by a great band!
Although this is not Guadalcanal Diary's best album (which happens to just happens to be "2x4" if you're interested), it is still a great album. I haven't heard these songs in years.
My band used to cover "Always Saturday" from this album. G.D. is a great and highly underrated band. You owe it to yourself to give them a listen. This was a used CD, but it arrived in very good condition, played flawlessly and all the original artwork was there as well.Read full review...
i miss GUADALCANAL DIARY
hello. i don't review much, but i had to give praise to guadalcanal diary. if you like r.e.m, or anything that is in the musical vicinity of r.e.m....you'll love this band. this is a later release (a sort-of greatest hits came out much later). highlights include "look-up", "always saturday", "pretty is as pretty does", "vista" and "ten laws" (my favorite track....."ten laws to break, ten laws broken....my how we've grown??") murray attaway is doing solo stuff, which isn't bad....but...trust me....just buy ALL the guadalcanal stuff while it's still available!!!!!!Read full review...
