Nice, but Packing should be plastic not cardboard
It's a delightful experience, no matter your age. This incarnation of the beloved Jim Henson classic is smart enough not to break what already worked so well. I adore this show to no end. I grew up watching Jim Henson's works despite him being long gone, and Fraggle Rock is one of my favorites. It's just so whimsical and cute, but it also deals with some heavy subjects and moral dilemmas in a way that a lot of people can easily understand. Dance your cares away, folks. Worry's for another day. I think "Fraggle Rock" is the best Tv show if you are looking for the one about friendships. It may be aimed for children, but I think it is enjoyable for children and adults! It is enjoyable to watch. Each fraggle have very different personalities and interests, but they still are a close-knit bond. The characters are all filled with fun, innocence, cuteness and kindness. I find this show a tad more appealing than Sesame Street. This is because of the interesting characters, story, setting, music and the idea. It is a truly original concept. It's a shame modern kids shows today can't be more like this. Fraggle Rock is just one of those show that can be imitated but never copied. I think it was the one of the best kids TV shows ever created. I've sat and watched the programs they play now for kids and nothing from today type even comes close. Shame really. They need to bring the old shows back. I LOVE LOVE LOVED this show. As a writer myself, I gravitate to QUIRKY totally ORIGINAL & weirdly WILD characters and ideas! A++ for FRAGGLE ROCK!! Fraggle Rock was originally created to help bring peace to the world, it should have has more than just 96 episodes, it was such a wonderful, musical and magical show. The kind of fantasy that shapes a young mind not so much reimagined but with that familiar feel. On July 11, 2018, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment announced that they would be releasing a complete series set of Fraggle Rock on Blu-ray in honor of the show's 35th anniversary. The 12-disc set includes remastered versions of all 96 episodes of the series in high-definition, and includes all features from the previous DVD season releases as well as adding new material such as a 1993 Today Show segment featuring Uncle Traveling Matt, a series of on-set videos with creator Jim Henson, and all 13 episodes of Fraggle Rock: The Animated Series. It was released on September 25, 2018.

This is the ONLY Fraggle Rock DVD release which contains English subs
Not the best picture quality Fraggle Rock DVD I've ever seen, but since I was definitely looking for a one with English subtitles only, this is the ONLY DVD release which contains English subs and I personally am totally fine with this one. BUT, for anyone else who's looking for a crystal clear picture quality I suggest to move on in another Fraggle Rock box set and avoid this one as the picture quality on a big TV screen shows some pixels. The box set itself comes in cheap plastic cases but it also contains a small Fraggle Rock kind of pocket book. I would say it's a great DVD for a $20-$25 but don't pay more for it. I love Fraggle Rock. My kid and I watch it together--fun for the whole family without the need for movie references or fart jokes (not that there's anything wrong with those but it gets a little old...) The quirkiness, the characters & the music create this kind of magic--I'm pushing 40 and discovered it on Youtube this year and fell in love.
It's wonderful to be able to buy the entire series on DVD affordably. The only thing about this package is that the DVDs are basically stacked together with no protection but a bit of cardboard--not great, but it probably helped lower the price. I just plan to pick up a few CD sleeves to protect the DVDS, very easy.Read full review...

Considering that this was an "official release", you'd think that it would have a better disc storage option. The discs are literally stacked on top of each other which is an easy way to cause damage to each disc. Other than that complaint, it's a good show for all ages! Read full review...
