Subversive and Engaging

I can watch Frisky Dingo over and over and laugh at the same jokes every time-- some of the lines are so clever, so spot-on, and delivered with such dead-pan authenticity I literally laugh out loud. "Cody 2 is down!" will put a smile on my face every time I think about it.

If you haven't watched Season 1, this will not make a lot of sense to you-- in fact, Season 1 takes a while to begin making sense. You can still enjoy it, but there'll be plenty of plot points that might distract you.

In the end it really does kind of all come together story-wise. In the meantime, the characters and situations, the egotism, selfishness, arrogance, indifference, reverence, stuidity, frustration, and glee hit you--BOOSH!--like a machine gun.

Of the two seasons, I think the first was better, but this one is able to short-hand a lot of character development (such as it is) in favor of more story and some fresh faces (not the least of which is the diabolically benign-appearing Mr. Ford).

Its a shame the spin-off was never made, as these characters are classics in my opinion.Read full review...

FriskyDingo - Season Two

FriskyDingo is one of the greatest cartoons of all time in my opinion if your into dark humor. The story is very uniqe to any other cartoon that AdultSwim offers and the charecter's each have their own unique personality. this is recomended for people of ages 18+ due to the graphic nature of the program, wich includes topics such as: murder, Homosexuals, sex, drugs ect. FriskyDingo Season 2 continues off from FriskyDingo - Season One (2008) right after the Anialatrix is fired. overall FriskyDingo - Season Two is the best of both seasons in my opinion and i would defenitly recommend watching it. overall id rate 5/5 Stars.Read full review...

This is a keeper in my book, funny AND bloody, keep the kids away though!!!

Wish this was a series that would have continued. One of the funnier animated shows that I've seen for a while. I bought both season 1 and 2, and watched em all in the span of about 4 days! I really enjoyed story, and it transferred from show to show seamlessly. Again, very funny show, great animation (don't watch it with your kiddos by any means!!), and wish they could have been on for longer!Read full review...

Frisky Dingo 2

This second season is not as strong or groundbreaking as the first. But if you're considering buying it, chances are you've watched the first season. If that's the case, then you need this second season. No questions, no hesitation - just buy it. Not the pure genius of the first season, perhaps, but still indispensable hilarity for any adult cartoon fan. Highly recommended for anyone who's seen the first season.
