Don't wanna pass this one up.

Wow to say about this movie I have seen it so many times and its a hard one to describe. Its a "cinamatic" look into the life and what it takes to become a US Marine (during Vietnam anyways) It focuses on the lives of the men from the moment the arrive to when they are thrown into the war. This movie is not for the kiddies due to the violent images, language and references to vietnamese prostution. This movie started many lines and phrases people still to this day inlcuding "me love you long time" and "nothing comes outta ___ but steers and queers" Yeah that's from this movie. There are some sad parts and funny parts. I don't want to give too many things away, so I will end with saying you must watch this movie its definitely a "guy movie" but I am a girl and I liked it too. Highly recommened!Read full review...
