The experiment continues.

I am trying to use Windows 7 pro 64 bit in an old AMD socket 939 machine. I maxed out the memory with these chips and they work as fast as the machine can use. I added an SSD but have no AHCI option. Windows runs, is sluggish and permanently maxes out the single core AMD Athlon 4000+ CPU. ZORIN Linux runs quite fast but Linux has media limitations. The experiment continues.Read full review...

Great memory modules

Upon receipt of these modules, I installed them into a AsusTec P5PE-VM mother board. It detected them and booted right up. Have worked well since. Nice heat sinks built in. While this MB's bios can not change much at all to overclock these some, I can't utilize the performance these are capable of. A very economical price for these to use for a 10 year old MB.
