Cloudy window for screen, not direct fit
The faceplate has a really matte finish. It gives a smooth but cloudy view, especially through which the games should play through. I bought this to replaced a scratched face plate which seems more clear to play with than this matte-replacement.
Also 1 of the 2 hinges don't snap so i wouldn't call it a "perfect fit". I could lift up one of the sides from the front with my nail and with a little wiggling, i can remove the entire face plate off.

Try a different brand
I had pretty high hopes for this faceplate considering the packaging I thought it wouldn’t be the same as all the Chinese faceplates (I haven’t tried any of those to clarify) but once it arrived it just felt terrible. The growing window was noticeably cloudier then my OEM faceplate which was scratched quite a bit. I look for some sort of film to remove I was hoping maybe there was just a film to prevent scratching, there was not. I could deal with the cloudiness I guess since it was in overall better condition then my original, then I noticed the ultimate deciding factor that led me to literally throwing this faceplate in the trash. IT CROPS THE LCD IMAGE. I noticed this when playing Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga at the start up screen the “Nintendo 2003” banner gets cropped out. Does not happen on OEM faceplates. Coated Screen Cover
I'm not sure how they treat the backs of these faceplates but whatever they did, they did not do properly. The faceplate arrives with a piece of clear plastic covering the clear area where the screen should be visible. It seems this is done before applying some kind of protective coating to the back of the plate. They did not apply the clear plastic appropriately and wound up coating a good chunk of the clear area, distorting the screen on one edge.Read full review...

Blurry

best i could find
Fits a little tight, and the very, very, bottom-most part of the screen is obscured, but every other type of replacement face plates I have tried come with huge scratches that warp the image slightly. With this the image is perfect (the bottom row of pixels will never affect gameplay). So my opinion is that if you need to get a replacement faceplate, this is your best bet.Read full review...
