Well I think it is fun.

I think this is just a fun game. Call me whatever you want I am 41 yrs young and think this is a pretty cool game, kind of corny though, but that makes it even funner to play for me. I liked the character choices better on game party 1 (like the lizard or scarcrow or scientist(mad)) but that is only a small detail. if you like playing lawn darts(probably my favorite), horseshoes, shuffleboard, curling, etc, then get this game(unless you already have a horseshoe pit at home then play the real deal).Read full review...

Pales in Comparison to Wii Sports Resort, But Still Worth Playing!

Game Party 3 is a good game and worth a buy, if you can get it under $15. I was able to get a good used copy of this game in Jan of 2010 off ebay and have played it several hours already. According to the Nintendo Channel, the game data information records this game is played on average 10.5 hrs per person and The Game Party series (Game Party 2 and 3) have been played over 2,000,000 hrs by Wii owners who are connected to the internet and who have opted to share there game play data with Nintendo. There is no doubt that these type games appeal to casual gamers. The problem with Game Party 3 is that it pales in comparison to Wii Sports Resort and even Wii Sports in that Game Party fails to deliver the feel of the real games. For instance, in the horse shoes and shuffle board games, the throws have to be way to soft to score. Most games won't hold your attention long if you are use to the quality of sports games that Wii Sports Resort delivers. I give this game 3 Stars and if you like sports games or party games, and you can pick it up at a reasonable price, I do suggest you get it. It is not a great game, but it is a good game. The fact is... there are few alternatives out there, since there are not many SPORT SIMULATION GAMES for the Wii that are really good.Read full review...

Well worth buying at eBay prices and it has a lot of good games.

The game was well worth what I paid for it on eBay. There are a ton of games on the disc, most of the games would be appropriate for just about anyone old enough to use a Wii on their own. Some games that we adults like are the Shuffleboard games and the pool games (8 Ball and 9 Ball). There are likely a bunch of the games that won't get played by adults but all games are worth checking out at least once.Read full review...

game party lovers BUY IT!!

I have not played game party2 yet but I have played game party and game party3 and find VAST improvements between the two!!! GAME PARTY 3 has ALOT MORE games thaN GAME PARTY 1 and it is also more family oriented. By this I mean- my children get frustrated fast when it comnes to gaming. If it is too difficult to win they give up. that was the case with GAME PARTY. However, GAME PARTY 3 has grabbed their attention ALOT more. There is a MUCH WIDER RANGE of games, and they aren't as difficult to master. GREAT FOR KIDS AND FAMILY ACTIVITY- NOT MUCH CHALLENGE FOR SERIOUS GAMERS.
