Easy to use and cost effective.

The reason for the purchase of the 2555LMT garmin was to update my previous unit. This unit is easy to program and has many easy to use features. I also like the idea that it has Life Time Map updates available which my previous unit didn't have. The price I paid for the unit was very reasonable. Great unit. It is better than I expected. A great value for the money.

This is the fourth Garmin I have owned. It by far the best so far. After taking a trip From Syracuse to Charlotte, I very happy the way it performed. I liked how it recalculated automatically without saying recalulating. The traffic worked great and the features like gas stations, hotels, and restaurant were right on. When I came to a road closed, it redirected me. I also like the speed limit posted on unit and my speed. I think this unit is great.Read full review...

Very good unit, easy to use

Very nice unit, easy to use,with many options. We had a older version Garmin and was very happy with it. It was about 7 years old and the battery died. Thought about replacing the battery,then realized the new units have so much more options than our old one, decided to get a new one. Good choice! Very good unit.Read full review...

switched from tom-tom to a garmin.love the garmin but there are some aspects of the tom-tom that i like.but,the garmin has more features and the routing software in my opinion is better.it gives me more choices then the tom-tom.the display screen seemed alittle better than the garmin.(resolution wise)the garmin is the right choice for my needs.i would recomend the garmin to anyone.Read full review...

Great product and easy to use.

I love this garmin I have used it to go from southeast K.Y. to Charleston WA took me right to the spot in the city so easy to use and very affordable. I was using my brothers garmin it has a 4.3 inch screen I like the 5 inch a lot better and I love the life time maps updates I have not tried the traffic yet but look forward to it I would recommend this product to anyone.Read full review...

I am loved this gps ,works very well to me , it has so many options , has free map and traffic updates .When you drive gps show you traffic in live .Very easy to use , very easy to tape your address in gps ,it show immediately available address .If you buy ,you never disappointing !!!

Outstanding merchandise, works like a charm!

I got this one to replace another unit in which the display was too faded and faint, even with a visor on it. I was very pleasantly surprised to find it has vivid color and is easy to read. It is not quite as sophisticated as the one it replaced, but if you can't see the doggone thing, that sophistication counts for nothing I would purchase this one in a heart beat once more. In addition, it lead me right to my doorstep through the most sensible route. The last two I had would get me there, but I had to go around the equator to do so. So I am very pleased with it, and cannot recommend it too highly.Read full review...

Great value and very easy to use, serves the purpose very well.

I've owned this GPS for a couple of months and it's proved to be a great asset for getting around. It is very easy to program and use. I have no complaints.

Very easy to understand and use!

When I leave my small town of 1200 people traveling to a very large metropolitan area, it's very handy to find where I need to go without asking for directions several times.I like the unit for it's ease of operation and understanding. So far I have not found anything that I do not like about the Garmin.
