Good show but A LOT staged for cameras

Now, I am NOT a huge Kiss fan. I do like the group & some of their music. Let me say that right out of the gate.

I did start watching this show on A & E. I enjoy it.

I like the family. Nick & Sophie are refreshing as they are NOT into bad things after learning from their Dad that because you are in rock and roll that the drugs and alcohol do NOT need to be a part of that.

I still say A LOT of these situations are staged just for the cameras.
Best episode "The Demon Turns 60". For Kiss fans, the ONLY episode with Paul Stanley.

Shows are wide screen that is good.

No real good extras, just additional footage.

And, the DVD makers, A & E or Gene or all of the above so to speak should be ashamed of themselves for releasing both the 4th & 5th season on the same day and to make it worse 12-21-10. I could NOT find the DVD's in stores, had to order online.

If you are a fan you will enjoy the DVD package. But, like mentioned above, NO good extras.Read full review...

Emotional Demon!

Of this series, by far my favorite as we get a chance to see what drove Chaim's mother, Florence, to raise rock and roll's greatest bassist.

The visit to Anne Frank's home is as emotional as anything I've ever seen and seeing Gene take it all in was an honor and a privilege.

Something I'll never forget as we should all never forget...!

Thanks Gene but most importantly, thanks Mrs. Witz! - Your "darling son" is a great man but you are a REAL ICON!!!

FANTASTIC WORTH EVERY PENNY!

BOUGHT IT BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN A LIFE LONG KISS FAN. I WOULD RATE IT 5 STARS. MOST OF TODAY'S REALITY SHOWS ARE GARBAGE. GENE IS MORE THAN HAPPY TO ACT NORMAL WHICH IS WHAT IS NICE TO WATCH. I AM SURE HE PUTS ON A SHOW WHICH IS WHAT HE IS PAID FOR MOST OF THE TIME. BUT OVERALL HIS LIFE IS EXCITING AND SO IS HIS WIFE AND SON. SOPHIE IS NOT AS ENTERTAINING BUT STILL I HAVE YET TO MISS A SEASON. WORTH EVERY PENNY. I AM SURE YOU WILL ONLY WATCH ONCE BUT WELL WORTH IT.Read full review...

Still one of the best shows on A&E.I loved watching these segments,some of them were really funny you can't keep from laughing.I think people who love the family jewels should definitely buy season 5.This is one the best series yet.
