Genji: Dawn of the Blade was released at the lunch of the PS3, the development team was rushed and the quality of the final product suffers.
pros:
Great graphics shows off some of the PS3's muscle. There is a good bit of items/weapons to mess around with. Good environment destruction on some levels. The cutscenes are nicely done.
cons:
There is no camera control and the camera is horrible! Camera points at your
character as you get attacked by enemies outside your vision field. Most enemies respawn after you defeat them and their A.I. is terrible (attack 2 times, walk in a half circle, repeat). The voice overs and the dialogue are pretty bad. The in game map doesn't show doors. Also, the objects and environment pieces get reused often on a level. Exellent Game.
This game is what PS3 is all about gives you different game modes and the fact that you can actually control 4 players is awesome.Graphics wise is one of the best games for the PS3 and controllers are really good and smooth. this is a game more susceptible for adults than youngsters.The only thing wrong on this game is the sound effects but besides that the game got a 7.5 out of 10.Read full review...

Good game.
Great graphics. Emphasis on the effects of fire.
Modeling of the characters well done with many details.
Soundtrack is also a plus along with the voice of the game.
The downside is the camera that the game is very bad and does not follow the action of the character.
Recommended.

Excellent Sequel
If you played the first game, your going to love this one. The graphics are amazing, and the gameplay is identical yet improved from the first game, the camera angles can't be changed as many people have been complaining about, but you couldn't do too much of that in the first game either. The Storyline stays true to the first and is overall much better. In all honesty it doesn't deserve the bad scores and reviews, most of which stem from the lack of camera control.Read full review...
Not the best game but not the worst
I got this game because of the art on the cover and it was not that expensive. The graphics are not too bad but it just something about it that i didn't like. There was this game balance that was off in my opinion. The view was the major problem. I know where the enemy was but it was slow to react and you can't turn around quick at times making you open to being attacked.

Something to do
I got this game for a cheap price and you get what you pay for. It is a decent game, but gets boring quickly. I didn't like the voice overs. I liked that you could change your character, but some of the characters were worse to handle than others. You could find other weapons that varied in how they were used. I would recommend this game if you could get it for a cheap price, but it wasn't one of my favorites.Read full review...

Make no mistake about it: It truly feels as though the camera in this game hates you and wants you to die. Enemies attack from off-camera. Players can't see what's around the corner. And God forbid there's an important jump that needs to be made. Is all the more frustrating when you consider that gameplay could have been vastly improved with a few simple fixes.Read full review...
Genji Playstation 3 game
I recently bought this game for my playstation 3.I was really impressed by the cheap price i buy it(thanks to ebay).At the beginning i was impressed because i really enjoyed Genji for playstation 2.Now I am a little bit disppointed because its a very borring game.I dislike the fact that all the cinematics of the game doesnt work properly if you dont have a HDtv.I have a SDtv and all the cinematics are laggy and the sound is choppy.Read full review...
