Personal opinion:

Movie one was as good as remembered. Very well cast and done,entertaining and laughable. Classic ***** Movie.

Movie two hadn't seen before, was okay, Had it's moments. But not even close to being as good as previous movie had been.

Without trying to spoil movie 2 for some people.
(It's still an okay movie.)

Expecting to see a good sequel to the previous movie? - You'll likely be disappointed.

Basically, in one sense in comparison to 1, 2 was just another almost worthless movie made to rake in money from a previous movie's name & quality with misleading marketing tactics for the most part. References made to first movie in second movie a bit over done and more tacky than funny.

George of the Jungle II on it's own merit? Disregarding points in reference to movie 1 in movie two: Questionably entertaining.

Two is not a not a stand alone movie by much. Or,a stand up and cheer one either. Although it has it's moments. It's worth seeing IF you've seen the first movie to a point and IF you can disregard the casting....The actual cast of II did a good job with what they had to work with. "Better as a Comedian"

Brandon Frasier is great in these two movies , he makes a good Comedian in film ! There have been a few actors that have made this change and did very well ! I like Brandon Frasier and John Cleese who plays George's Ape Friend funny move great for all ! Oh yes can't forget Spot , I'd love to have him as my pet !!Read full review...

Ok overall.... first movie great, second one alright.

I hate this set as a 5 because it's cool that you get both movies for the price of one however the rating is mainly for the first George of the Jungle, not the second. I expected the same actor and it wasn't, also the story line from the first one doesn't go over to the second. In the first one he gets married and he does in the second one as well but to a different woman never explaining what happened to the wife in the first one. I'd go with the first movie as brilliant, the second one... it was ok for a few laughs.Read full review...
