Series is encouraging, engaging, and warns us to stay ready to crossover!

Great series. I bought this because it sounded like a good series to depict crossing over and completing one's purpose on earth. It also encourages one to never leave "I'm sorry" or "Forgive me" to tomorrow. We may not have tomorrow.

Although some episodes depict 'evil' beings or happenings, by the end of the episode, Melinda has successfully crossed over most of the people to the light. I do miss 'Angela' after the second season. She was a good counterpart for Melinda. I am not that thrilled with the replacement actors. The twists and turns of the story line makes one want to stay glued to the DVD the entire time!
In a time when many TV series are negative-negative, this series leaves a positive feeling with the viewer.
Sorry to see this series was cancelled. Would have enjoyed more episodes.Read full review...

Absolutely fantastic series! Highly Recommended!

I purchased this series for my 11 year old daughter. She loves watching the reruns on TV so I thought she'd enjoy seeing all of the episodes in order. She was SO excited when she received them for Christmas. We watch the series as a family. If one family member is busy when we want to watch it, we wait until they are available. So we really look forward to watching the episodes together. I think this is a great series. Sometimes my son gets afraid and hides under the covers, but it gives us all a good laugh. The acting is great, not cheesey at all. You'll laugh, cry and think about just how important life is. The DVDs are crisp and function well. Wish they hadn't cancelled this series!

This is a great series and I was sad to hear it was cancelled. Basically, it's about a woman, Melinda Gordon, that can speak to the dead/ghosts. The shows explore all the different ways people are unique and explore the theory that sometimes when we die, we have unfinished business that we would like to finish. They were able to keep the story lines fresh and interesting, but I also realize all good things must come to an end. Ghost Whisperer follows the life of Melinda Gordon in all of her journeys to help out the dead who have not yet passed on. With the help of her husband and friends, she is able to make it through it all! This show will having you laughing, crying, and will definitely make you want to watch more! It's an excellent show! The Suspense, the drama and all that is learned about the "other side" is awesome and very useful!! I LOVE this series...it never gets old and the stories just touch your heart.
