Ghostbusters 1 & 2

Ghostbusters is a great film. Funny, funny, funny!
This is the ultimate "buddy" film!
The lines come fast and furious and the gags...
Murray, Aykroyd and Ramis are perfect throughout.
Sigourney Weaver is beautiful and kinky, Ernie Hudson is hilarious and Moranis and Potts are wonderful.
The special effects are first rate and ghostly humor is outstanding.
The "Sta-puf" man is terrific!
The second film has it's moments too but the first is still the best.

Great box set for any fan.

Ghostbusters is a classic and just an amazing film. The sequel is pretty good too. This box set includes both films and a movie scrapbook. The included on the DVDs is also some episodes of The Real Ghostbusters cartoon. It doesn't have the audio commentaries the older releases of the DVDs have or theatrical trailers, but I never listen to the commentaries and you can watch the trailers online. For any fan of Ghostbusters I recommend buying this box set, it is definitely worth it.Read full review...

Ghost Buster DVD, of the original movie from 1984

It was really fun to see the original Ghost Buster movie again since seeing it in 1984. Great quality discs and great price.

I loved the fact that both Ghostbustes 1 and 2 came together. I was also very impressed with the quality of the dvd's themselves. I bought them for my son to experience the fun, I had when I watched them. He loves them and watches at least one of them everyday. Thank you sooooo much for making old VHS tapes into video. Great comedy about paranormal hunters at their silliest

3 College huckster Professors lose their seats and grants at College as paranormal investigators and decide to start their own business of "Ghostbusters". It just happens that a huge shift of the paranormal universe allows them to be at the ground line of actually catching and incarcerating spirits and the antics they encounter will have you laughing all the way through. Although it was a few years apart, the sequal movie (Ghostbusters 2) follows in the same vein but with a different warlord ghost who is naturally out to capture the world and make it his own. By this time, the Ghostbusters have been debunked by a political machine from years back who didnt want to pay them for the work they did in the first movie and they were relegated down to doing children's birthday parties to make ends meet. Naturally, they are reinstated and the antics start all over again with the Ghostbusters winning in the end. It is pure escapism movie viewing that is totally enjoyable. Ghostbusters Double Pack (2005)

Another unusually successful film in the box office. Since the release of the first Ghostbuster film, the two movies and the TV series became an immidiate icon of the 80s and early 90s. With Dan Akroid, Bill Murray, Harold Ramis and 'the black guy', this four makes up the famous Ghostbusters who must fight a Samaritan supiror and Viggo the Terrible in both films. Not only was the storyline great, but the visual effects play in well with the color contrast of the movies, especially the second one.
