Very Good Razor Cartridge - But Not Perfect
I have always been partial to the Mach3 Power cartridge, the "Sensitive" version in particular. But I've always been interested in trying the latest Gillette razor. This time I decided to shave half of my face with the Mach3 Sensitive Power and the other half with this Proshield cartridge on the Flexball handle. What I have found with all of Gillette's 5 blade cartridges is that they shave as good, or even slightly better than the Mach3 for several shaves. But then the 5 blade versions begin to pull at my beard hairs as they begin to dull. It isn't too bad on one day's growth, but on 2 or more days growth I need a sharp 5 blade razor compared to the Mach3 which I could use slightly dull on several days growth. The lubrication strips before and after the blade do seem to increase comfort, but as they wear off the blades follow suit. If you usually shave on several days’ growth, or are really trying to extend each cartridge as long as possible, I would have to give the edge to the Mach3. If you are someone who shaves regularly or will be switching out the cartridge as soon as the lubrication strip wears off, you will find this latest Gillette cartridge to be one of their best.Read full review...

GREATEST VALUE ON THE NET!!
Hey guys!! Okay. I shave (like most of us have to), but that's compounded by the fact that I've rocked "the clean head" for nearly 25 years. Needless to say, I go through those hyper-expensive blades post haste!! Racks up a fairly lofty monthly grooming tab. So, instead of sometimes surpassing up to $25 for a pack of ONLY 4, THIS deal was $15--FOR EIGHT!!! HOPE I've permanently solved an issue I'd just come to accept as being a high-dollar bedevilment! Great Blades, but does not last too long
These are great blades that gives you a very smooth shave. However the downside is that they do not last too long. Which makes you buy them more often. I guess this is what Gillette wants you to do. I have used the Schick Hydro razor blades in the past and they cut just as close and gives you the smoothness of the Gillette, but last longer. The Gillette has the rotating head...which may be of some benefit, I just have not figured out what yet. I may be going back to Schick they cost less and does the same thing. Read full review...

Sharper/Shaves Better than some new razors even after 10 shaves.
Yeah, that is the claim, and from my experience I would say it is true. I've been using disposable razors for years. At one time I was using better refillable razors like Gillette makes, but figured because of how cheap it is to buy disposable razors it was way too expensive to use the refillable ones. And I might have continued using the disposables if it weren't for a free Gillete Fusion Pro razor I got in the mail. Now I am spoiled. And since these really do last a long time the investment is worth it .... at least IMO.
UPDATE, After using these blades every day for over 3 months now I am getting a minimum of 6 weeks out of each blade. I am blown away by how they stay sharp for so long!Read full review...

BEST SMOOTHEST SHAVE EVER
I'me 79 and have hacked up my face with all types of razors throughout my lifetime. These blades are even better than the original Fusion blades that I have used. Best shaving blades
I previously used the Gillete ProGlide blades, but these ones are by far better. The oil they release after coming in contact with your skin provides for a smooth shave and they last more than the ProGlide ones before becoming dull. I used one cartridge for more than 1 month at a rate of 4 shaves per week without it cutting me. Of course, the product you put on your face before shaving has to be taken into account. I use a shaving oil and when combined with these blades, it provides smooth shavings. When using a shaving cream and these blades however, I did get cuts. Best Gillette blades yet!
The Gillette Fusion Proshield blades provide the best shave yet. They provide a clean shave with less irritation. I also like the construction of the razor handle with the pivot head. The pivot head makes it easy to shave around curves such as my adam's apple and chin. The one negative is that they are way too expensive if purchased in the store, but purchasing online makes them almost competitive with many of the shave clubs deals that exist online.
