I automatically fell in Love with Glee. This is an amazing show that combines singing and acting just like they did in the old days. They take songs that we can relate to or that were big hits and they redo them in simplmans terms so that everyone in todays generation can enjoy them just as much as when they were big in their time. The cast is wonderful and each brings their own individual character to the screen that all play their roles in making this comedy so relatable and so entertaining. Glee Season 1 Volume 1 Road to Sectionals

I love Glee. It is creative and the writing is clever. The way they intertwine the story lines with relevant music is just amazing. I love that they use a mix of music from Journey, Rick Springfield, to Lady Gaga. The Power of Madonna is not on this disc but that show was inspiring and sent a message out to girls that has been lost over the years. I listened to Madonna starting in Junior High and still listen to her today. Her music is truly about empowering yourself and not to settle. Glee also has a very talented cast many of them form Broadway. I love the fact that many like Kristen Chenoweth have guested on the show. Jane Lynch has an amazing character to play Sue Sylvester head coach of the Cherios. You just love to hate her. I challenge you to just watch one show I guarantee you will hooked!Read full review...

Loved it!!!

I did not watch it on TV when it was on and I kept hearing nothing but good things about Glee. So I decided to watch it. However, I tried renting it from DVD rental company and they had me on a very long, long wait so I decided to buy it instead. It was well worth the money I spent on it and so glad I bought it instead of renting it. I love this show and when one episode would end, I couldn't wait for the next one to begin. Great for fans of the program.

I bought this as a gift for a big fan of the program. I watched it with him and the quality of the video is excellent. I wish I'd paid more attention when buying the product and realized it wasn't the complete season, but only Volume 1 of the season. It was inexpensive so I can afford to buy volume 2 of the season so my son has the complete set.Read full review...

Excellent!!!!

I had never paid much attention to this series eventhough everyone around me was watching until one day I was actually forced to watch an episode from the second season and I loved it, so I had to order the first season to know what was going on and now I have to use DVR to record the second season because house I do not want to get ahead of myself... I sat down for five hours straight watching the first season from netflix, but there is nothing like having your own... One of the best series ever, makes you laugh and cry!!Read full review...

I am thrilled with the Glee DVD. I purchased Glee: Season 1 Vol.,1 for my brother's birthday gift. He watches another TV show aired the same time as Glee. Therefore, he hasn't seen the show yet. I love Glee. In fact I'm a Gleek even though I am a senior. I have no doubt this DVD will turn my brother into a Gleek as well. What I love most about Glee is its ability to ALWAYS make me feel good. Best Teen Musical of the Century!

In season 1 Glee, they brought great song renditions of different artists and made teens relate to them in their everyday life. I loved season 1 because it dealt with reality and plugged it with humor and broadway musicals. Bravo! to the cast who gave an outstanding performance!
