Perfect fix for a dark area with no overhead light
This is my second purchase of this item. It's extremely lightweight and can hang anyplace you can put a hook. I use cup hooks rather than the large hooks that come with it. The shade is a very thin lightweight plastic, so I use an LED flood bulb that is equal to 100 watts but without the heat. I have one over my craft table and one over our music practice area. An easy fix. It comes unassembled, but only takes a quick minute to put together, and the cord is extra long so it can be placed pretty far from an outlet. This fixture has a nice, long cord (so it can plug in and swag to any location) and I love the handy switch on the cord. The lamp produces lots of light. The only problem was, for the set up at the house, was that the thumb switch needed to be a little farther up on the power cord. This was easily fixed with a small extension cord.
