Celebrating Our Country & Learning Important Landmarks
My son loves this book and so do I! It is a simple board book, with one location/theme per page, and one or two sentences per page. It is appropriate for preschool/kindergarten age. The book travels coast to coast, and finally into outer space, covering national landmarks such as: Statue of Liberty, White House, Supreme Court, also Golden Gate Bridge, Niagra Falls, Grand Canyon. Includes regions of the country such as the Everglades, Oceans, Desert, Farm fields, Redwoods, etc.. The day begins on the first page "Good Morning Atlantic Ocean, whales and beach. Are we ready to share a wonderful day?", travels east to west and ends with "Reach for your dreams, astronauts, exploring outer space. Good Night America. Thank you for sharing a wonderful day." I have always found this book to be so sweet, positive, as well as educational.Read full review...
A Wonderful Children's Book!
Good Night America is a wonderful board book for children. I bought the book as a gift for a friend of mine who lives in South Africa. I thought it would be a neat way to introduce her daughter to America. After reading it to my son I'm thinking of purchasing one for him also. I have also recommended this book to our local childrens library.Read full review...
