Controversial, but Bold!

Addio Zio Tom has to be Jacopetti and Prosperi's most controversial works in their career! But it's also bold! Though slavery is a tragic chapter of African-American history, these filmmakers had the guts to create this documentary to show two sides of African-Americans and Whites never shown before. I hjave some of Jacopetti and Prosperi's films in my collection, so I purchased this to add to my collection. Although some dialouge was in English, the rest was in Italian and I picked this version it is a romantic language. The word Negro was predominantly used, even in the subtitles, but that's fine.
