Let me start out by saying Gossip Girl is one of my favorite shows on television. I find it to be absolutely delightful, a definite guilty pleasure. Seasons 1 and 2 were 10 out of 5 stars, and after the season 2 finale, I was anticipating season 3 to be the best year yet. I mean, Chair finally happened!!

But something changed in season 3. Blair was no longer the Queen B, and I feel like she became a slightly weaker character, which really upset me (She was always my favorite). Serena, especially in later episodes, became more of a spoiled brat, then the charming Serena of previous seasons. And Jenny, oh Jenny, please cut your hair and wash your face before you return to the Upper East Side in Season 3. I could hardly stand Jenny whenever she came on screen.

However, the show was still very good. We got to see an entirely different side of Chuck Bass, which I loved. He had a wayy sexier haircut and wardrode as well this season. But, he finally grew up. I still loved all of the Chuck and Blair scenes, they were adorable. Nate, too, finally seemed to grow a backbone. And of course, the season was wrought with OMG moments, especially the finale. Gossip Girl season 5-featuring Hilary Duff

I never saw this show when it was on. I bought the DVD set for only one reason-I read an article in a magazine that Hilary Duff appeared on the show. Gossip Girl is very boring. The only thing interesting is the hot young women. There was too much of the bleach blonde. I kept wondering if any of these kids have jobs. They have a lot of time and money on their hands. The guys on the show are complete idiots. In Nebraska, guys like that don't have hot girlfriends. Hilary Duff is great. I hope her appearance doesn't hurt her career. It's Hilarys' world and we are living in it. She has an excellent future ahead of her. If anyone buys this DVD, just look for Hilary.Read full review...

Awesome Season

Just when I thought Gossip Girl could not top the previous two seasons, it amazed me with the third. This is a great season and the relationship drama is palpable. If you aren't a Gossip Girl fan yet, you will be after this season! I highly suggest this show, it is filled with drama, lies, family problems and strength, and it really goes to show, friends are there for you when you need them.Read full review...
