I've watched this show from the beginning, and it has gotten better with each season. I was disappointed to find out that next years season 5 will be the last season. The cast of characters to me is spot on. The Penguin, Mooney, Riddler, Selena Kyle, all excellent, even James Gordon and Harvey Bullock play such good cop bad cop. This is a GREAT series, albeit quite violent. It is essentially the telling of the Batman story in an organized crime narrative. Bruce Wayne is a teenager whose parents were murdered, and he sets out to find our why. Those of you expecting men in capes and the Batmobile will be sorely disappointed, but if you enjoy a well crafted crime drama full of twists and surprises, you'll love it.
