While Best Picture Oscar winner GREEN BOOK is a completely enjoyable companion to another very similar picture ... Best Picture Oscar winner DRIVING MISS DAISY ... it's also a film that
couple have been made at any time in the last thirty years or more.It's well acted, well directed and
a good way to pass an evening. But it's an awfully safe choice for Best Picture. VICE is a much more inventive film. BLACK KLANSMAN is a much more challenging film if one wants to stay
with a period piece dealing with race. Pretty much your call. I think VICE should have won for both
