weak whammy bar

I bought it for my son's birthday. he loves it as well as my daughter. it's user friendly with great song titles. it looks like he is really playing. it's great for eye-hand coordination, sense of rythm and coordination of fingers. but unfortunately after 3 days of use the whammy bar spring is gone. This Guitar Hero is my favorite of them all! It was how I first learned to play Guitar Hero (thanks to my former roommate), and I fell in love with all of the songs. I later purchased Guitar Hero World Tour, which is also good, but I had to get my own copy of Guitar Hero III.

I like the way the play lists are set up vs. that of World Tour. But the nice thing about World Tour is that you are able to play entire gigs (usually four or five songs right in a row) without having to return to the list of songs to select the next one. Being an older version of the game, G.H. III lacks in the individual and personal characters and guitars that can be designed.

Despite these minor issues, it is still my favorite Guitar Hero, and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone!Read full review...

Guitar Hero Legends of Rock (Wii)

I bought this as a last minute Christmas present for my daugter. She loves the game and has played it daily since then. The set I bought included the wireless guitar as well as the game software. It also included stickers to decorate the guitar. One of the added advantages is that my husband sings along with all the songs on the tracks so it makes him relive some of his high school years. Total entertainment whether you want it or not

Bought this for our teenage son. Just so happens he can play this game pretty well. He loves it. Day in and day out. Great leverage for discipline!
Go clean your room or else.... Works great on the Wii system. Just afraid of him running out of music at some point. I'm sure by then there will be some new downloads for him. Our younger son tried it and his hands just weren't big enough. He enjoys watching his brother rock out!

Great Game! Gotta love to Rock!

Guitar Hero III: Lengends of Rock is a great game. They whole family can play it and really get into it. Parent love it because most of the music is from there younger days so they can relate to it. It's great for kids because they can act like rockstars and you know everyone wants to be a rockstar! I recommend it because you will just have fun with it. Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (Wii, 2007)

This product was purchased for my teenage son. He had played it with his uncle before and REALLY liked the particular songs that can be played on the game. I think he would rather not have to unlock things to be able to play all songs available, but it gives him goals to achieve and accomplish and takes longer to complete than other games so he doesn't get bored as quickly. Playing this game inspired him to learn to play an acoustic guitar, which he is in the process of doing.
