A Great Show In a Not So Great Package

The DVDs come in a cardboard box that is somewhat flimsy and is not made to last. But each disc has its own thin, plastic case and those cases are very durable. The artwork on the box and on the cover of each DVD case is simple but striking. The show itself has it all: shootouts, violence, romance, friendship, betrayal and monsters. The story focuses on the life of the loyal sweeper Brandon Heat. He must protect his loved ones and fight humans and monsters to do so. The storyline, though not boring by any means, is not complex. However, very real and complex characters make up for this shortfall. There is more to Brandon Heat than his job and his firearms (though he has plenty of those, too).Read full review...
