HP IPAQ 210 Handheld PDA

The PDA does a great job. I use it to remind me of all kinds of things. It will "wake up" and remind me to do things that I know I would otherwise forget. It has saved me a great deal of frustration. Also, you can access the internet, get email, write documents and such. There are actually 1000's of free apps on the internet that one can download and install without having to buy apps from HP.

The reason I gave it only 4 stargs or Good was because in this day and age, if a company like HP can't put more then 128MB of storage on something like this, then they are just being chincy. Considering the Ipod Touch, which is actually slightly smaller, can have as much as 64GB!!! Come on HP and get with it, stop being cheap and put a REASONABLE amount of memory in them!!! If you can buy a TINY flash drive with 32GB on it, you can EASILY afford to put at least 8GB if not 16GB or 32GB without raping the customer's wallet.

Other then that, it's a great device. If HP would take these recommendations to heart and increase the storage and perhaps make some of it similar to the TOUCH in terms of playing music and videos (which they should be able to find apps already written, they just have to incorporate them) then it would shine above the Ipod Touch by a mile!!!

More than disappointed

I bought this pocket computer to run an aviation program in my airplane. It was listed by the software manufacturer as one that would work.

2 days later I am BEYOND disappointed. I have been through the installation process multiple times on a PC with Windows 7 and PC with Windows Vista. I have done a soft reset and a hard reset. Quite simply, it DOESN'T WORK. There isn't a telephone number to contact anyone for support. My grown children are visiting and both are very computer savvy. Despite efforts by 3 of us, it still doesn't work.

I DO NOT recommend this device! Windows Mobile (which you need to sync the ipaq) is a mess as well. In other words, buy a Garmin.

Great tool for us old time Pocket PC users!

I am one of the old timers who still likes using my Pocket PC. Call me crazy, but my phone is my phone. I'm not one of those who goes around texting on the telephone. I use the Ipaq 211 for my apps and sync with my PC. I also use it as my handheld bible study tool. First extra add on for me was Pocket Bible. Next was Mobile Shell 3.5.... then after adding Opera 10 as my default browser instead of IE I'm set.... love it!Read full review...

dissapointed

The things I didnt like about the HP 210 Enterprise is no software came with it. The battery takes forever to charge and it runs down even when the unit is turned off. And I have not been able to get the WiFi to work.
I like the screen bright clear has a lot of good features for a handheld.

Exactly what ive been looking for!

This PDA is exactly what ive been looking for. It's fast, lightweight, a mobile office to go. Helps me edit my documents when im on the road, review work orders, and the battery life is pretty decent. Best investment ive made so far!Read full review...

Hp 210

I like the screen size

It is quite slow.
Don't like the way you have to reboot it every few days.

Don't think I would buy another.

HP iPAQ 210 is as it twin brother 211

I own both iPAQ 210 and iPAQ 211 and they are both the same. I can go online, I love how Skype work on it and being able to change the orientation of the screen... that is a new for me. Of course, the most important are all the PDR, drug interaction, skill and journal suscriptions for health care professionals.Read full review...

iPAQ 210

Compact, fast, lots of storage, multi-featured for the on the go person. I had one in my previous position which I had to give up when laid off. It's great for syncing with calendar/database programs to keep track of appointments and contacts.Read full review...

great little organizer. great mp3 player.

This is the best one from any manufacturer. The only negative is that some of the original programs don't work for it. But thats to be expected. Very fast processor and lots of programs to make life very easy. easy to load music, video and pictures. Got a great deal on one that was only opened and not used.Read full review...
