Keeps discontinued HP printer working great

Genuine HP 901XL is an excellent ink cartridge product. The ones I bought are not yet expired and can function a long time after expiration. I have two printers that these fit. The print quality is uniform and does not smear. Unfortunately, HP has discontinued both its Officejet 4500 Wireless printer and 901/901XL ink cartridges. I only purchase this brand and cartridge number for my printer.

This the best cartridge for the HP J4550 printer. This cartridge last a very long time and longer than the other brands. The HP901XL cartride quality is the very best. I have tried an off brand before; however, the quality and endurance just did not compare. I look for the HP Officeject 901XL each time I replace the cartridge. The ink never smears and never had a problem with the electronic connection or printer communication with this cartridge. I have had an HP printer for several years without any problems. My advice is not to either substitute or try to use any off brand or refill; reason, the results will always be less than the original HP 901XL cartridge. The HP 901 run out of ink so quick you are just wasting time, money and effort to maintain your printer. I have compared and priced the HP 901XL with different companies and brands; however, no cartridge compare to the results procduced using this cartridge. The rating for the cartridge have not been reduced since manufactored. I have read the reviews and many people are happy with the HP 901XL ability to last, print and copy. The software I have installed on my PC have no problem verifying the cartridge and giving me the amount of ink left in the cartridge. When you research the product and configure the product, you can only conclude this is the best choice without being frustrated at the end of the day. In some situations and circumstances a substitute may work, this is what we call the generic brand, I have not discovered any generic brand that satisfy the general public or myself. If you look back or even think back a few years, you would assume by now some company would have manufactored a pretty good generic brand to compete with the HP brand; well, this have not been accomplished. You would assume by now some computer genius or someone whom love to reseach and improve to reduce the cost would have come with a good method to refill the original cartridge with quality ink; well, I do not see this have been accomplished. Time have proved this product to be a challenge to the competion and computer researchers to replace either the cartridge or the ink. I give thanks to time as always something would go in favor of the consumer, the price have been reduced compared to the original cost. It was difficult to make the choice between the HP 901 and HP 901XL in the past; in addition, usage had to be considered. It was an easy choice to remain with the HP 901XL after using the HP 901 once. I immediately purchased the HP 901XL years ago and still purchase the HP 901XL today and in the future. I give thanks to time that the price have decreased although HP still make printers today that use the same exact cartridge. The cost of the cartridge have been reduced; yet, the quality of the product is still the same. The production I receive from the cartridge is still the same; therefore, whom can compete with such a great product. Althoug HP have made printers today using the same cartride, it have not changed the price. When it is time to purchase another printer, I will purchase another HP printer that uses the same HP 901XL cartridge. I have a winning combonation, the printer and the cartridge goes hand in hand like a baseball in a glove. I would highly recommend all people use this original cartridge for the quality, for the production and for the price. OEM-Expired-Sealed Ink Cartridges are good deals

I have bought OEM, sealed but expired ink cartridges several times and in my experience, they work just fine. I have had no problem with them and would recommend them. You can't beat the price. It upsets me to pay full price for "INK". Why do it if you can get good expired ink for such a good deal. Just make sure they are still sealed in original package. A good buy, the only way to go!

Because the HP printer I have tends to run through ink like it's free, the XL is the only way to go. I find that it's worth spending a little more and just getting the bigger size. You can also get the ink professionally refilled at COSTCO for a fraction of the price once you have the cartridge, so it's environmentally savvy if you don't mind waiting a few minutes while you are cruising the store. Hard to find this ink, and expensive. This ink prints like brand new from the store. The only difference is no warranty, but still as fresh as new.

It is not only with this company, but with most refurbished ink cartridges we buy.
