Not very impressed with overpriced printer

It initially wouldn't let me print "black and white" which was a real pain because that was what I needed. I liked the idea of the printer because it was wireless. I finally figured out that I needed to download the correct drivers because my computer's operating system is Windows 10. HP Desktop F4400 Printer

Recently received my HP desktop F4400 printer. I found that the printer is basically made out of all plastic, which lends to it's light weight. the print quality is good, but there is a major problem with the paperfeed. If you load move than two or three sheets of paper, the paper either jams or feeds through all at the same time. The quick start instructions are easy to follow, and accompanying CD guides you through on screen step-by-step directions. To download the drivers takes about a half hour to complete, which places a digital imaging monitor and a printer resolution center on the system tray.The printer utilizes lights and symbols to indicate the print functions, and you have to check with the owners manual to determine what symbol to press. Good printer for the price

We bought the printer because it was just like the one we have had for several years. We are senior citizens and did not want problems learning a new one. Parts Only was correct

Platen glass broken, needed scanner parts, which worked. Threw out remaining parts. Print quality was not good, used print parts from other printer.

HP F4480 All-In-One InkJet Printer

I purchased a used HP F4480 All-In-One Inkjet Printer because of the inconvenience of driving to OfficeMax for self-service copier service. As a bonus in addition to copying black-white/color documents, I also have the ability to scan important documents to store in my computer. What a bargain. This printer replaced my old Deskjet HP 3930 printer. The HP 60 Black/Tri-color cartridges are easy to refill with syringe.
I like its ability to copy color and black documents. Color photographs printed copies are good.
I dislike the manual flipping over of feed sheet to produce double sided copies. I wish that this color inkjet would copy faster.
I would buy this printer again because of its low price.
I have Windows 7 Operating System, so I downloaded Hp driver from internet since supplied CD’s driver was for Windows XP.Read full review...

Versatile, scans, prints excellent-quality documents, graphics and photographs. Will function as a fax, although I do not personally use this feature.

Solid, dependable printer. With all the recent changes to Windows operating system, it still functions with its existing software. A good deal.

HP F4480 All-In-One InkJet Printer

I bought this printer to duplicate another of the same model I bought for my primary music studio. I needed another one for my 2nd studio and I knew it would perform adequately. It has no slots for camera cards, but I don't need them. It's a little noisy but for me, that isn't a concern. It eats ink like all printers but it's easy to find the generic cartridges online (although they seem to be a little pricey compared to my other printer)and most any refill kit will take care of the black cartridge. Without good directions, manually refilling the color cartridge will result in muddy colors. Scanner is a bit slow to start up. I'm not crazy about the driver program, it's a bit confusing to use but, it does the job.Read full review...

Not all it was cracked to be

It took several tries to finally get this printer set up to match my computer. The disc was cracked so it took a number of different ideas to finish the job.

Pretty good little printer. has pretty good features. it's fast and print is great. Copy feature is easy with great results. Ink may go quicker than I would like.
