You cannot go wrong with this printer ... Good print quality and cost!!!

This is a very good printer - I am an IT guy. Plugged into my network - had all 6 PCs on my network printing within 30 minutes. Fast print speed ... Wakes Up quickly. Very clear print. And definitely cheaper than an Ink Jet - 1600 pages $60. Go for it. Its an HP laser jet - does not get any better.

5-3-2012 - Followup: I am not getting 1600 pages per toner cartridge. Probably closer to 1000 - but still a good deal. Also, says VERY LOW ON TONER way before you need to change it ... Change it ONLY when the print is light and/or lines on page.Read full review...

This is a top notch all in one laser jet printer.

Sometimes it may be weeks between print needs, a laser jet can sit there for very long times of idleness and still function in an instant. Ink jets will give you problems if the ink drys in the print heads. If you want a great all in one laser printer and don't need color, you will not be disappointed with this printer. The scanner does a great job of color scanning. It has a fax, but in this day of being able to scan to PDF and then email, there is little need for it.Read full review...

HP has improved its quality

this printer is like other reviewer stated: easy to install on USB connection
for networking, it will require installation CD, but it is suprised to install so fast and easy.HP really works on EASY installation hard.

this printer is good for Home and Home Office, not for business use. cartridge is tiny

Bang for your Buck!

This printer is easy to hook up. You no sooner hit the print button and it's done. This printer is lightening FAST. I am very pleased and would recommend this printer.I own 2 HP laptops and have always been satisfied with their products so I decided to take a chance on their printer. I am so glad I did. The product is great and even better for the price!
