HP PSC3180 printer scanner

Inexpensive high performance printer - copier - scanner without fax capability. Very good deal for the price. Good for college student with limited space and budget. Has slots for most commonly used digital camera memories making printing pictures without computer simple. Flat bed scanner can copy books. No auto feed but it is a low cost machine!

Can't find better value for the price

This all in one is for the home user who just wants to print pictures ( slots on the chassis to do this), print papers for school or home office and scan frequently. The ink is the least expensive HP offers. It does t do well with aftermarket inks, the prints come out with a smudged look at times. This is the best printer for the money.

UPDATE 10/2015

Since I bought this HP ALL IN ONE, which lasted just over a year until the scanner stopped working, I have purchased 3 more, the last one in September of this year, it lasted 3 weeks! The issue is always the scan feature, which I use a lot but for personal use, not a small business! This last one the paper feed malfunctioned week one, then the scanner stopped working week 3. I bought the last two from a brick and mortar retailer, no issues returning.
My new ALL IN ONE is a Canon Pixma, less expensive, cheaper ink as well. Too early to tell, but there are some issues.
I would cautioned against buying the HP brand unless perhaps it is a higher priced model, with reviews from people you know, not the ones online that are bought and paid for.Read full review...

Great - would use buyer again!

Love the scanning abilities of this unit. The software helps complete the package and use. Great product and uses low ink compared to other ink jets. The cost of black ink is around $20 and can carry you through at least 2 reams of paper. Not compact in size, but still manageable. Great product for student dorms rooms, personal copy and print as well as scanning needs. Also photo ready and has built in SD card slots.Read full review...

I LOVE this printer! Best I've used!

I bought this the other day to replace the same style printer that somehow spit out a vital part and thus isn't working. The main reason I chose to re-purchase the same machine is that this one has been incredibly reliable and efficient. It's quiet, it's quick, nice clean print -- what more can you ask of a printer?

My late husband and I have used Dell, Epson, and other printers -- this little HP can run circles around them all. As long as I can get this one and refill cartridges (yes, available on eBay -- 4 black and 2 color for about $24), I'll be content with it. Makes a great scanner, too.

Great Printer!

Very nice printer.Easy to use.I was a little skeptical about purchasing sight unseen but, my fears were unfounded. Not only was the printer in like new condition,it was easy to use and figure out all it did even without a manual. I have had good luck with this model HP printer. This particular one----I got it in a box, OK. The paper tray has plastic pins on either side. One pin was out of its socket and it was difficult to get it back in the socket. The printer was very dirty. No one had bothered to clean it. The transformer for the printer was non functional. It gave the unit no power. Luckily, I had a spare for this model. My buying this item was not a good thing. And I am a person who almost never complains...Read full review...
