HP Photosmart C4280
Wonderful Printer - great deal, prints high quality photos, I print documents in "FAST DRAFT" and the quality of fast draft is excellent. I use this professionally and personal reasons. Ink is very reasonable (bought on eBay) I always buy 74XL and 75XL high yield ink - it is well worth the extra money and both color and black high yield cartridges produce high quality photo prints and crisp documents. My last HP Photosmart C4280 lasted 8 years and only required fairly minor repair. I bought the new C4280 to use professionally at my office and have the other C4280 at home.Read full review

Simple, Low Cost, Does A Fairly Good Job for Home Office Applications
Good Low Cost Printer for simple home printing applications. Not the "best" print or scan quality but heck - it's inexpensive, small and does exactly what *WE* need it to do. In fact we have TWO - one for me and my lovely wife...that way we ar eusing the same print cartridges. If you are looking for a low-cost and easy printer go for this one. A Tough "Work-House" All-in-One
This is the second HP Model C4280 Photosmart printer I have owned, and my first one lasted eight years of daily use before I damaged it while printing tiny little labels. When I needed to replace it, I searched and found the same model. I love the features and wanted to use all the cartridges I had stock-piled. I also like the easy set-up and software that come with this printer and like the ease of using the scanner and printer. It is a reliable printer and works with all weighs and types of paper and card stock, including really heavy stock I use for my paper-crafting hobby. Probably the only thing it DOESN'T do well is print very accurate colors in some photos, but perhaps if I were better at using the software for color and image correction, I could improve that. Another advantage is that this printer uses two common cartridges (HP 74/75) that can be refurbished and purchased very cheaply.Read full review

Exactly what I wanted!
It's an older, out-of-manufacture model almost impossible to find new so I was thrilled to find it to replace the same model I had before. It has excellent print and copy quality. This is a great new item, still in its original packaging and box. It was simple to set up, and immediately started working beautifully. The only thing that I had to do was to purchase new ink, as the original ones had dried out, but this wasn't any problem, or detraction from my enjoyment of this wonderful printer. HP C4280 Printer/Scanner
In the on-line description I was given to understand this would be a new product. Quite obviously it is a used printer. It is dirty on the inside. I had to remove the dirty ink cartridges and replace them with new. A piece of the paper train was missing, laying loose in the box. I had to re-install that. It appears I will need to deal with paper jams. I think someone unloaded a lemon on me and I paid dearly for it!Read full review

Need it fix simple as that
Ink cartridge won’t stay in holder. The holder clicks but cartridge does not stand in holder. The printer says cartridge not installed. So it does not printer
