All the fuss is worth it!!!
Imagine pre-teen Beatles' fans shrieking at a concert making a sound that one parent concert goer described as "Getting behind a jet."
And is all the fuss worth it?
I'd like to say a hearty, 'Yes'. Hannah Montana has such natural exuberance and charm to go with her positive power pop voice, she's an all-around entertainer. Sporting the moves of a cheerleader, her happy-go-lucky spirit is energetic, but never seems forced.
Backed up by synchronized dancers, kaleidoscopic colors and costumes, and a spunky back up band, and you have a venue that draws on Broadway, but touches the ground again when it needs to be a rock concert.
Surely she's inherited talent from dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, who offers, "She writes what she lives...It's real." Miley's own explanation of songwriting taps into what all geniuses draw from, lyrics that mean one story to the writer, but is laid down with a broad enough brush to touch millions of lives in each of their stories.
'Hannah Montana: Best of Both Worlds' is an infectious G-rated venue. It's simple in many ways and not all flashy, yet the camera goes exactly where it should. Director Bruce Hendrick and editor Michael Tronick are steady enough to take us in all the right directions. We see choreographed rehearsals, one on-stage flub gets corrected, and a perfect series of preconcert fan outtakes of kiddie enthusiasm and even a hilarious (if not dangerous) race for fathers to win tickets for their families.
With music that is propulsive like the Go-Gos and an entertainer with such a good disposition, how can anyone resist? (If you doubt Hannah Montana's (Miley Cyrus's) draw, then you've missed out on the biggest merchandise extravaganza for pre-teen kids in memory.)Read full review...

Couldn't resist getting Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert DVD for My 2 Hannah Montana "crazed" Nieces! I watched this DVD with Both of them! Talk about a Good Time! WHEW! One of the best concert films of all time!
I might be a grown man, but I know a very good film when I see it. And, believe me, the 2008 feature "Best Of Both Worlds Concert" with Miley Cyrus and Hannah Montana is one of the best ever made. I was thoroughly knocked out at how well this plays out. There is a lot more to a concert than just what you see on the stage. So much reharsal and preperation goes into a show of this magnitude. Sometimes, there is also a lot of hard work that goes on backstage and behind-the-scenes, as well. This film documents every detail of what goes into this show, and does it perfectly. Although it is a film that is aimed primarily at the young girls' audience, overall the production is first-rate. It is a lot of fun to see Myley getting ready for the night's show in front of a huge crowd at a large arena. One look at all of the efforts put in by everyone, and you will come away with a renewed sense of sppreciation for all the hard work that pays off in the end. The Jonas Brothers also appear in the film, as the concert's opening act. Their set is purely dynamic. These boys know how to make great music and enjoy it, as well. This is one of the very best DVD releases of the entire year. grandaughter's dream gift 2008
Until my then-7-year-old granddaughter Ashley told me about some groovy chick who is a typical teen and also a rock star, I had not heard of Hannah Montana (aka Miley Cyrus). However, watching the HM/MC on her own tv show, singing and performing, entertaining and relating, I recognized that she is talented and authentic. Needless to say, I have spent countless hours enjoying HM/MC with Ashley, who just turned 9, and I remain impressed. This DVD captures the superstar and the 'normal adolescent' that is the HM/MC icon, and I imagine that this DVD will be craved, obsessively watched, and idolized by other young girls who like music and celebrities.Read full review...
HANNAH MONTANA ROCKS
I've seen Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus Best Of Both Worlds Concert on Disney Channel and its in Disney Digital 3-D when I saw it though I was wearing the 3-D glasses one evening.
I'm so glad and excited that I got Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus Best Of Both Worlds Concert on Region 1 Disney DVD and its terffic and Miley Cyrus is so lovely and so talented.
Billy Ray Cyrus is teriffic too and he get the two thumbs up from me.

Great Kids Movie
My daughter loves Myley Cyrus, but so do I because I think she is a great role model so far. I think the movie is a great way for my daughter to see how famous people should act so I got it for her. I have not seen the movie yet because it is a christmas gift but I have good expectations for it. I am going to watch it with my daughter for the first time.Read full review...

A great DVD for people of all ages. Great Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus music, behind the scenes peeks and lots of FUN. See what happens back stage, the outfit changes, the rehearsals and a peek at the real Miley Cyrus and family. The energy that is put into this show by the star and all the crew is great to watch.
