Hario's scale... Costs more, but it makes so much more sense

Hario seems to have the only coffee scale with the sensible addition of a timer. Of course one could use one's phone for a timer, but why not simply integrate the function, as Hario as smartly done? It's a shame that this one feature necessitates spending perhaps twice as much as other low-end coffee scales, however, soon enough, one comes to appreciate having spent more for the benefit of the timer function.

PS - If I say the item does not brew quickly, it's because... duhhh... it's a scale, not a brew kettle or pot. I wouldn't try to weigh coffee with a kettle, either!Read full review...

Perfect coffee scale

I'm using this scale with my 8 cup Chemex and it's amazing. The built in timer is very useful, helping me control my pouring speed. It only weights in grams so this probably wouldn't be practical for everyday cooking use. Although a lot small than I expected, the quality is very high. Very good scale for the price

I have two, one for home use and one for my travel kit. Hario understands coffee and the scale was designed accordingly. Very easy to use and stays on longer than other scales’ 45 seconds or so, which can be very frustrating when brewing coffee.
