My Simple Rating for 'Hart to Hart'....

I initially bought the second season of 'Hart to Hart' for a number of reasons. Here they are:

Why you bought it?
I remember watching the show as a teenager and it brought back the familiarities of my teens. I also like the cast: Robert Wagner has always been a favorite of mine. Stefanie Powers was then and still is a lovely woman. And lastly Lionel Standler reminds me of a butler my parents had as a child.

What you like most about it?
The entire show from the opening credits to the ending credits. There was never a bad episode. The only disappointment is that I now have to wait until season three to come out.

What you dislike about it?
That I have to wait for season three to come out and that there is NO CD for the music featured on the show. Ugh!Read full review...

This is light entertainment: nothing more

For the money you get 20 amusing, and sometimes interesting, episodes. I don't think anyone was aiming very high: these are just entertainment. Enjoy them as such.

The Hart's are an attractive, wealthy couple whose income derives from the husband's business (self made, says the opening). The business (which is a conglomerate that takes on new units as the plots demand), and occasionally, their friends and family, provide the hooks for the plots. Since there's nothing inherent in any of this to provide a mystery plot a week, sometimes the plots are often rather implausible, and don't always keep you guessing, but there are enough twists and turns to keep it from getting boring.Read full review...

Wealthy guy becomes P.I.

I enjoyed the first season but the second is even better. The actors seem to have really embraced their roles and have even more fun with them. The story lines somehow seem better as well. Most of all I enjoy the unusual chase scenes they have. This is a fun and lighthearted show with serious moments but it never forgets it is entertainment.Read full review...

Love the Harts

I watch this show for years on TV. It was the first time that I noticed Stephanie Powers. It has the three H's humor, heart and horror. The hart stumble on a murder or two every week. There help the local police find the real killer. The Harts are a wonderful couple but are the kiss of death. Every week of their friends or acquiesces are murdered. It is better than Murder She Wrote where some many are killed in the same small town. This is worth the time to watch.Read full review...
