Heat. It. Up. - A landmark DeGarmo & Key album.

This is one of the best DeGarmo & Key albums (it was actually put out in 1993, not 2006). It has a classic DeGarmo & Key sound (for those who know DeGarmo & Key), with a perfect balance of new sounds of contemporary music. Dana Key provides excellent guitar riffs (especially on the songs: Heat It Up, Selective Amnesia, God Good; Devil Bad) while Eddie DeGarmo provides great keyboarding skills (especially on the songs: Never Look Back, Armed and Dangerous). The title song: "Heat. It. Up." deals with the cold-heartedness that Christians can get from just doing nothing for God, and encourages the listener to just ask God to set their heart on fire to do His work. Other songs, including "God Good, Devil Bad" (the first song on the album), definately makes the point of where DeGarmo & Key stands in their ministry. All in all, I definately recommend this album to anyone that is a fan or anyone that is new to DeGarmo & Key. If you like a hard hitting sound of classic and new, and giving the lost and saved something to convict them about their walk with God and/or their salvation...then this album is for YOU!Read full review...

This is a great Degarmo & Key CD. The vocals are great & the words are pure for the Christian life. The guitars are lots of fun too! I like all the songs, there are lots of fun songs of theirs like, God Good devil Bad, Selective Amnesia, Ultimate Ruler & many more!!! Really Fun CD!!!Read full review...

little heat here

This is a classic rock band on the downswing, long after their glory days. I consider this, as with To the Top, their worst releases. Lots of cliches and little that's memorable musically.

Great guys. Great ministry. Too bad.Read full review...
