Simple, affordable, dependable bike carrier
This bike carrier was easy to assemble. It attaches and detaches from the trailer hitch in seconds and can be done by only one person easily. During assembly, I measured from the center bolt out for each tire bracket to make sure my granddaughter's bike would be centered exactly. Once the bike was mounted, I had to move each bracket a half inch further from center to obtain an exact fit. All bolts were tightly secured. Even while mounted, the rack still allowed me access to the back hatch although I had to release the upper tie downs so the handle bars could be leaned away from the car to clear the hatch. I am very pleased with how securely the bike stays mounted. After an eight hour trip, it was just as secure as when I mounted it. (The empty bracket is for the bike my wife is buying for herself.) SHOULD work.....
I was somewhat surprised that no assembly instructions came with this, only a diagram of the exploded view, with parts list. Assembly was easy enough though. It should haul a couple of bikes, maybe not for a million miles though......

I spent $35 on a bike rack and I got exactly that. A $35 bike rack nothing more nothing less. I got exactly what I paid for. It looks like it will work just fine.
