A wonderful story of the slave trade in England. Phillippa Gregory at her best mingling a powerful love story with descriptive account of the terrible slave trade England began. One of her best.
I bought this book to give to a friend as a gift as I can't part with my copy. Highly recommend this powerful account of English history and the beginning of William Willberforce's campaign to ban slavery.Read full review...

This is my second read of the book. Awesome product.

It is a very interesting account of slavery during that time period. I like the author because in the book she backs up the story with facts.
