A great game, almost a 5 out of 5

I dont quite want to to give this game a 5 to start out with out of 10 I would give it an 8.9 its just so fun with several levels of fun to play through each with a multitude of ways to kill your targets, but I just cant get over the unimpressive graphics and a few other quirks that keeps it from perfection. This is a game that gives you choices and I absolutely love that in games, you can sneak around kill your targets with out even being see even making it look like an accident in some cases or you can whip out your pistols and tear through hordes of enemies to get to your target, but believe me its so much more satisfying to play it right. Its quite a long game compared to others and has pretty good replay value not because of unlockables but its just so much fun with a variety of ways to complete each one. Graphically its decent dont get me wrong its not ugly or anything but everything is just kind of bland faces have no expression on any character and cutscenes are better but dont rival other games. I dont like how agent 47 (the main character) just magically pops into new outfits I would like to see something different. Now one thing I really like are the weapon customization options you can add a carbon fiber barrel, laser scope, alloy rifle cases you name it and they appear in perfect clarity in the game and on you weapons menu, the weapons menu has really in my opinion the best graphics in the game. The Newspaper articles are a nice addition but they become quite familiar after about three levels. All and all id advise a buy on this one and although it is available on the 360 ive heard the graphics are only slightly better and there are a few unlockables but nothing that warrants a 20 dollar mark up in price.Read full review...

Classic Killer!!!

The Hitman series keeps on going and going. In this fourth installment you are back as Agent 47 to do what a hitman does. This would be a great game for downloadable content instead of making you buy a whole new game but at least it's not taking that much space on my hardrive. Some of the new missions are quite brilliant while others feel rehashed and people are way to paranoid as if everyone in the building knows a hitman is coming to kill somebody and you're the only bald guy to blame. Having a hideout is nice but kind of a waste of time, not as easy to navigate like "The Punisher". It is a lot easier to use your stealth weapons this time though but trying to capture people for disguises can sometimes prove difficult. Graphics don't seem so great anymore either.
No online or downloadable content in a game that could be perfect for such a thing can easily be viewed as a waste. Imagine navigating a room full of people searching for other online agents who are trying to get to your target first without alerting you or the competition.
Rent before you buy. 3.5/5

Not quite what the first 2 were

Blood Money is a great game, but not quite as good as the first 2 in some ways. They really should have stayed with the same setup for changing weapons, shooting, etc. because if you play the first 2 and then go to this one, it is a pain to try and relearn the controls. Once you do though, it is a lot of fun, and they did add some other things to this one that make it interesting. Some improvements were made, but some things were changed that should have not been, overall, this game is another "Hit" man....Read full review...

Still The king of Hitman Tittles

Hitman Blood money, is still the best of series, it blends the stuff from the first 2 while adding it's own flavor to the mix, And even tho, the graphics are a little dated, Still has more game play options and choices than the latest Hitman's, in all Any Hitman fan should definitely play this game.Read full review...

An Honest Review

great hitman. amazing game. best in the series. the only aspect in which the other games of the [non-PC] trilogy compare is their nostalgic value. i often find myself wanting to play contracts (and silent assassin had i not lost it), but once i put it in, the stiff controls and lack of 47's ability to smack people around lose me.

the levels kick ass in Blood Money, save for one or two less imaginative levels -- flatline, death on the mississippi, and amendment XXV to be exact.

there's sort of a dearth of guns in the game, although the surfeit of revolvers is comical -- what fuckin hitman uses revolvers? -- but finding them all is still somewhat of a challenge.

i can't really comment on the notoriety system because i never sucked enough to get into any impeding trouble. i'm sure it's a fun system if you're new to the series and start on the pro difficulty.

all in all, like i said, it's an amazing game. once you beat every level with a silent assassin rating, there's still more fun to be had in trying to complete the levels whilst receiving the worst possible ratings.

***ANOTHER GREAT HIT***

Agent 47: badass of all time. Hitman Bloodmoney: instant classic.

Everything you love about the HITMAN series is back--mouth-watering graphics and new weapons make this a game well worth playing. Cool new locations include Las Vegas, Paris, and more U.S. locations. New features include a new Notoriety system along with an entirely new, interactive story and scenarios.

Who doesn't love sneaking up on someone with a wire and dumping them in the nearest crate? This time around, 47 has the best weapons arsenal to fulfil all of his objectives. Superb storyline (a great surprise ending) and next-generation graphics makes this the best Hitman yet! Don't miss this game!

A HIT-- A+

A strong continuation of Agent 47

Agent 47 has new moves (like using a human shield) and the level of difficulty has increased. Your weapons can be upgraded and wearing certain clothes at the right time is important. The only thing that I don't like is that you do not need to bring any extra weapons to most levels, as you will kill your victims otherwise and quietly. A good game for the price - MSRP was $29.99Read full review...

hitman-need i say more

i play all hitman games religiously. i only bought a new blood money because my 2 year old scratched my other one playing frisby with the disk. i like the game because of one reason...."when you kill for money, there are no rules." if you like to creep through the missions, kill the targets, and get out undetected that's okay! if you want to run through the missions and kill anyone between you and your target, that is also okay... i wouldn't recommend this game to anyone under 13 or 14 years old because of the violence involved. but i am 25, and i lose focus playing mario brothers, but hitman:blood money will keep you on your toes!Read full review...

FOR THE 3'RD GENERATION, NOT GREAT.

For the 3'rd generation of a game, that was made in the end of the Medal of Honor generation of gaming, this was quite a disappoinment. In their attempt to simplify the controls, by only using half the buttons available on the game pad, they actualy made the game more difficult and plodding. Because of the use of fewer buttons you must enter lists far more often than should be necessary, and in turn this causes more mistakes over all. Also a major problem is that while you viewe your map the game continues, so that you can be attacked even while your attention is elsewhere. I personally will never understand why game creators cannot simply use the controls of such games as Medal of Honor, or even Cold Winter, as templates for all games of the shooter style.Read full review...

One of the Best Games EVER!!!

This is by far one of the best games I have ever played. This was my first exposure to the Hitman line of video games and it wont be the last. This game has great graphics and gameplay. The controls take some practice for the first timers, but once you get the hang of them, its great. One of my favorite things about this game is that you don't just run and gun. You have to wait for your moment and be unseen. If you haven't played this game you are missing out.Read full review...
