I am an older male, and I weight train. I go full out and can feel "beat up" after heavy training, the next day...and as I recover on almost any day!

About 15 years ago, someone got me one of these Homedic massagers as a gift, and it was a Godsend. The massager was SERIOUS. You crank it up, and it will give you a full-blow pounding! I am not sure the ladies would go for it. But for me? Perfect.

The problem was...Homedics DISCONTINUED it! Why? Because of complaints to them that is was TOO STRONG, pounded you TOO MUCH, and could even PINCH you if you weren't careful (kind of true, tho' once you get used to using it, that won't happen, but I have had it happen!).

OK...so you are looking at this massager! It is not brand new in the box...maybe it comes with a box, if you get one that is almost new. But the reason it is USED is because they don't make the PA-100 anymore.

I got the new model after the first PA-100 I talked about above wore out....three or four years of heavy use. The new model, any of the Homedics new models? I CANNOT get excited about any of them for me. I got the one, I got my super-senior dad one of the new ones...for his in-home care person to use on him...he liked it. But if you want a SERIOUS MASSAGE...get the PA - 100...nothing else.

The massager was something like $39 new. So a good one here on EBay is in that bracket, Buy It Now, or Bidding...it will be in that price range. Why? Because people like me KNOW their value and need a new one when the time comes! And they are willing to pay for one! Let me let you in on a little secret! I have the PA-100 I use right now....AND I have TWO more "like new" ones in my closet!!! Yes. I am NOT TAKING THE CHANCE that when I need one down the road, it will no longer be available at all! NO. I have two back-ups in there just in case.

Love this massager, as you can see! If you really want something that gives you a back, shoulder, chest, leg massage that does the trick, does some good, give you that great feeling of soreness relief after you are done using a serious massager for about 10 minutes?! Too bad this model has been discontinued and the new upgrade is not as good.

I had this product before and when new this product is wonderful but eventually the motor to move the massage sideways dies and the new upgraded handheld massager does not move sideways. This product has been discontinued. Too bad.Read full review...

Good machine

I like this percussion machine. It has power and penetrates into the muscles nicely. I use it everyday. The one thing I do not like about this machine is that it's not corded and needs to be charged often. The charge does not hold long enough for me to complete my massage routine.Read full review...

Can live without this.

I use this every night for my back and hip pain. I even take it on vacation. It is loud. And it takes some getting used to. But for deep tissue massage this is your one.
