Hiliday Inn

This classic black and white movie provides great music and excellent dancing! However the story line and the role that women play in the movie is dated. The women simply flit from man to man depending who has more money. The guys in the movie, Fred and Bing who are friends will stab each other in the back to steal the girl away from each other. In this day and age it is not a very believable movie. I would only recommend watching it for the music and dancing if you care to see it at all. -JerryRead full review...

Christmas Story Great Music and Costumes

I love old movies that take you away from reality and this one did the job. It is light and fun and entertaining. Plus it reminds me of a time when things were simpler in lots of ways, especially between men and women. This 1942 classic stars Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire, so you know right off that there will be great singing and dancing. This film introduced Bing Crosby singing "White Christmas".
