Keeps getting more funny & better!

We LOVE this show! We can NEVER seem to get enough! If all the seasons were available, we'd buy them all! It's NEVER disappointing! The seasons seem to just keep getting better & better! The whole cast was just PERFECT! Tim with his hijinks & grunting. Al (Richard Karn), with his seriousness yet soft side. Jill (Patricia Richardson), as the wife with a great sense of humor enough to put up with Tim. Wilson (Earl Hindman), with his words of wisdom, philosophies & theories. Not to mention the sons who put in the final racket of fun & mischief! Just when you think you've seen it all, there's always more! NEVER a dull moment! Still funny after all these years. I have seen these shows many times, and they still make me laugh. The hairstyles may be dated, but the relationship humor is timeless. Attempting to balance family, friends and work. Mixed with Tim's attempts to make things bigger, faster and more powerful, and Jill's endeavors to keep him grounded, yet let him be himself. This is a family-oriented TV series that my children and grandchildren all enjoy, from ages 7 on up.The language used is good, with very few cuss words. The situation is mostly humorous without degrading the characters. The cast play their roles well and authentically. There are some good values taught including honesty, caring for others, dependability, tolerance, and friendship. The Home Improvement Dvd was very funny and the show was very well written. Tim Allen and the boy that plays his son Randy are the two characters that really make the show as good as it is. The show deals with common problems that any person could have and then shows how this family resolves them. Great show, too bad it ended after only 8 seasons.

I am buing this product one season at a time. I'm a big fan of Tim Allen. Evidently, on line streaming of Home Improvement has not been available on Amazon, Netflix or Hulu Plus, so I'm buying the DVD's. It will be a great investment for future use.Read full review...
