Hoover windtunnel does the job

I have always used traditional bag type vaccums until a family member bought a dyson. I liked the idea of not replacing bags and no suction loss, but the cost was more than I wanted to spend. I researched many brands and discussed with friends the different options. Hoover is a trusted brand so I chose the windtunnel. It has perform very well. Removing deep down dirt and pet hair. My only issue is that it gets hot on the retractable cord and the cord doesn't always retract all the wat. Otherwise I love it.Read full review...

the machine is very nice looking and has nice added utensils, it's suction is very good and has great features such as cord rewind and brush turn off. The negative is it is quite heavy and to get the best pattern on the carpet you must set the height at a level that makes it hard to push and pull, also the headlight is way to dem to be of any use, you barely know it's there.Read full review...

I like everything about the vacuum cleaner other than having to switch the hose to another outlet when you want to use it. I prefer that you can just pull up the handle and use the hose without having to unattach it and reattach it. I always forget to switch the hose connection back when I go back to using the floor vacuum again and don't realize it until after I've vacuumed for several minutes and its not performing in its usual quality way.Read full review...

This is awesome

I had a bagless and I use that one for my upstairs now. I like this one better because of how easy it is to empty the dirt out. Plus there is a button to push and the hose releases. I love that I don't have to wind the cord up every time. That is a plus. I also like that it has a filter indicator to tell me when the filter is too dirty and needs cleaning. This is a great vacuum. One of the best vacuum cleaners I have ever used.

As a single father of three young girls, I have to constantly stay after the carpet cleaning. After carefully researching a lot of vacuum cleaners, I decided on this one, and I have not been disappointed. I had vacuumed my carpets about 2 days before it came in with my parents' Shark Navigator, and after running my new Hoover I was amazed at how much dirt and dust was still left in the carpets. I had to empty the canister, which is much larger than the one on the Shark, twice before I was finished in a small three bedroom mobile home. The first run was of course larger debris and dirt that was on the surface, and the second run was full of dust. This vacuum has so much suction that on the low carpet setting, which I have very short carpet, it actually suctions itself to the floor and will pull the carpet up from the floor as it runs over it. I took it to my parents house and ran it afterwards and had the same results. A canister full of dust that wasn't visible, and even fibers from the carpet itself that the Shark wasn't removing. I HIGHLY recommend this vacuum to anyone that has small children because it has definitely proven to me to be an amazing vacuum. As far as pet hair, I'm not sure because we do not have any pets, but after seeing everything else that it picks up with no effort, I do not believe that pet hair would be a problem at all. It's a little heavier than I expected and can require a little effort to move back and forth at times, but I found that the amount of suction is the reason for that. All in all, I couldn't be happier with my purchase and if I had it to do all over again, I would buy this product again in an instant. 5 stars all around!Read full review...

Love Hoover

I really like this vacuum cleaner and it cleans very well for me and it's not bulky, and heavy. Ok it might not suck the carpet up but it gets the dirt out. Nothing is 100% but I like using the vacuum and I'll buy another one when this one stops working. I've had the expensive vacuums as well and this Hoover work just as good or better. Don't get caught up in all of the hype about these outrageous high prices vacuum cleaners it's nonsense. But it's really self preference if you ask me. The vacuum works great!Read full review...

This vacuum has cleaned my apartment over and over again pulling dust out of the carpet I never knew was there and my old vacuum never pulled up.
The carpets look so much cleaner and lighter when I use this. The attachment has helped a lot with the chairs and couch as well.
