Still relevant today...

Even after five years from it's release there is still a lot of music on here which could/would be still relevant today. Same goes for her 1978 debut album The Kick Inside. It amazes me how her songs hold up thru time. Though she can be rather quirky at times (not necessarilly a bad thing), I have an eleven and a twelve year old who both enjoy listening to her. She is definitely not of the cookie cutter ilk they try to pass on as an artist today, whereas every one of them sounds the same as the last. Kate Bush may be an acquired taste for some, but once you do get a taste it makes you hungry for more!Read full review...

A Masterpiece

First heard “Hounds” on alternate radio in 1985. Ran out and bought LP for house and cassette for car. Waited for MTV to play videos. I wore out 2 LPs and a cassette before CDs came out.
“ Hounds..” as stated in my title, is a masterpiece. Kate has made many wonderful albums, but “Hounds..” is her best.
My son loves her, and this CD is his. Luckily I have my own. Will use this seller again.

Great disc!

Hounds of Love is one of my favorite all time discs.
Kate has the voice of an angel and the entire disc feels like one piece.
Way ahead of her time, she was the Zola Jesus of her day.
In college I incessantly played the cassette in my painting studio.
I was thrilled the CD is still available.
Buy it. To feed your heart and head.

Amazing CD! Great value!

This album is a "must have" for any Kate Bush fan! Every song is exquisitely produced. The vocals are haunting. The track list includes "Running Up that Hill" "Big Sky" and "Cloudbusting"
