Great for minimising glare on water, or photographing through glass such as into cabinets or into cars. Smart photographers put a Hoyer UV on every lens for physical protection, and keep specialised lenses such as this Circular Polariser in the size equal to their largest lens filter thread, and then purchase step-up rings for their smaller diameter lenses so they can use any of their special filters on all of their lenses. These Pro-Hoyas have a female thread on the non-camera side so that your lens cap, or another filter can screw straight in. Circular polarizer
