Warning: Don't Watch This Movie While Pregnant!

Don't watch this movie while you're pregnant...especially if you suspect your mother-in-law hates you. This film is scary, mostly because it's hard to believe the husband could turn out to be loving and normal when his mother's a psycho. The husband, of course, thinks his Mommy is the best, and doesn't protect or believe his new wife until it's almost too late. If I were his wife I couldn't live happily ever after with him; I'd be waiting for him to flip out one day, like Mommy Dearest did. I would rate the film lower but the performances of Lange and Paltrow are so good they ALMOST make you believe this plot could actually happen. If you like suspense, drama and most of all excitement, this is a movie you won't want to miss. The actors/actresses take on roles that are unlike any other they've starred in so it's something to watch. Jessica Lange is outstanding in this performance as is Gwyneth Paltrow.
