I Don't Have to Make Everything All Better

I had read it before, and I wanted to give it as a gift. I recommend this book in workshops that I teach. It has excellent examples of how to validate what people say in your family or at work. You can't always solve all of the problems of the world, but you can help other people to feel that someone cares and offer them the respect of being a good listener. Often they will then be better able to solve their own problems or come to terms with what they can solve. This is a good book for anyone who would like to improve communication skills.Read full review...
