Marvelous remaster and great digipak packages.
Leave it to British Ace Records to upgrade my old first two CJ Fish albums and bless you for issuing them in Mono and stereo. It doesn't get any better than this. Yes I still listen to these guys. Why not? Very highly recommended to anyone who is still a fan of Country Joe.
Now I may be the only person to say this but here goes. Why not combine Joe's two solo records of Woody Guthrie material together on one disc. If Ace owns all the Vanguard catalog, why can't this be done? All the material was cut at the same time with all the right people in Nashville at that time. Just a thought.Read full review...

Country Joe's sophomoric outing
What you get is so much more then just the studio version of the F-I-S-H chant song, it's well crafted end of San Francisco psychedelia with Eastern-influenced music. It's a dated album but with this cd you get both stereo and mono masterings of this album plus a unreleased backing track to the song "Janis". Read full review...
