IMAX-Africa:The Serengeti(2007m Blu-ray Disc)

I was born in Oldeani which is a small town on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater in the Serengeti. This imax blu-ray dvd is the next best way to see the Serengeti, if one cannot go there in person.
The dvd is a little on the short side and some scenes could have been more comprehensive but apart from that it captures the heart of the Serengeti very well.Read full review...

I watched this movie right before booking a trip to the Serengeti. This film confirmed my decision to go there for a summer holiday. The blu-ray quality is wonderful, and the film covers the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, the Masai Mara, and Lake Nakuru. It'll give you a great idea of the wonders of East Africa.Read full review...

There's nothing like a good nature documentary in high high definition. This one was excellent. One tip, though, Any digitally mastered DVD movie will show in high definition on a blu ray player, don't waste your money buying on blu ray if they're available otherwise. They look the same on your tv if you use the digital blu ray hook up.Read full review...

This is quality disc, i watched it without any fps slowdown or freezing.
This bluRay disc i can't watch on BS Player, VLC or MS Media Player - only on WinDVD BD for ASUS. For the first time of watching BluRay quality movie - i can say that it is much sharper than any of DVD quality movies, but sometimes i get feeling that video is moved from DVD to BluRay.Read full review...

Good movie if you like the genre

Great Picture and sound. With the Blu-Ray DVD transfer its great watching it in HD. I the plot and acting are solid, but I really think having seen the regular dvd vs. the Blu-Ray there is no comparison. If you like the story you will love the Blu Ray version
